Mental Health First Aid is national best-practice, evidenced-based certification course that is 8 hours in length and leads to a 3 year certification issued by the National Council on Behavioral Health.  By designed it is intended to mirror the idea of regular first aid by empowering individuals with just enough information to respond and help guide someone with a mental health need to the right kind of help.

 

This course is designed for Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and Corrections and is appropriate for any person who works in Criminal Justice or Public Safety.
