What is NAMI Connection?
NAMI Connection, offered by NAMI Maine and NAMI Affiliates,
is a free, confidential and safe place for individuals living with mental
health challenges. Individuals join a caring group of peers that offer support
through their learned wisdom by sharing coping
from each other’s experiences, and offering each other encouragement and
understanding. Group members are no longer alone and
have a renewed sense of hope. NAMI Connection support groups meet once a week
for 90 minutes and offer a structured group process. For a complete list of all types of NAMI Maine support groups visit our Support Group Listing page.
