Family-to-Family Teacher Training
Share |

Are you a family member who is interested in learning how to co-teach the 12-week Family-to-Family education course to other families in your area? The training and materials are free of charge. This is a chance to give back by helping provide this incredible course to other families in need.

More teachers are needed so that this course can be offered on a more frequent basis and in more locations in the state. The curriculum is evidence-based and provides valuable tools to help families cope. No prior teaching experience is necessary – you just need to be a family member who wants to help others. NAMI Maine provides everything you need so that you feel confident and comfortable in co-teaching this curriculum. It is recommended that you’ve already taken the Family-to-Family course yourself, but not necessary. The training is a lot of fun!

Next Teacher Training scheduled for March 10, 11, 12, 2017.

Trainings are usually held annually.  Please register to be notified when the next training is scheduled.
