|Middle School Lessons Training|
Learn How to Teach Middle School Youth about Suicide Prevention. A full-day program for health educators and others who will implement Youth Suicide Prevention lessons in their middle school health curriculum. These lessons are aligned with Maine Learning Results Health Education Standards. The lessons introduce the concept of mental health and mental illness. Students will learn about the positive and negative aspects of stress, a range of healthy coping strategies, identification of resources and suicide prevention.
Gatekeeper training is a prerequisite for this program.
