NAMI Maine Annual Conference Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: Do you offer Continuing Education Credits for the Conference?

A: All attendees, after completion of a post-Conference survey, of the NAMI Maine 4th Annual Conference will receive a Certificate of Attendance for contact hours. It is the responsibility of the attendee to submit the certificate to the appropriate accrediting body for credit. 

 

Q: What if I live far away from Augusta and want to stay overnight?

A: We have a room block at the Senator Inn for $70/night under code word: NAMI. Rooms must be booked by November 10th to receive this special rate. If you do not book by November 10th, the rooms are released and the $70/night rate is not valid. Please call the Senator Inn to book your room using code word NAMI. 

 

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions or need special accommodations?

A: Please specify this on your registration form.

 

Q: I am a Respite Provider or Family and cannot register without a special code.

A: Please contact your Regional Manager who will provide you with the code.

 

Q: I am a Respite Provider and need information regarding mileage reimbursement and hotel accommodations.

A: An email was sent to all Respite Providers regarding the mileage reimbursement details and hotel room reservation process. If you have further questions about mileage reimbursement or hotel accommodations, please ask your Regional Manager. Please note: Respite Providers must inform their Regional Manager by October 20, 2017 if they need a hotel room. Hotel rooms are limited and reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis.

 

Q: I am a Member or Student and cannot register without a special code.

A: Please contact Events Manager, Mae L'Heureux, at events@namimaine.org for the code.
