Protocol Development Training for Schools
Share |

The likelihood of schools or youth-serving agencies encountering a suicidal youth is real. Few events are more painful or potentially disruptive to the community than suicide. Protocols provide guidance on steps to take to safely assist youth and staff by providing them with direction, structure and support. This protocol workshop will provide schools a hands-on opportunity to learn important information to develop/strengthen suicide prevention, intervention and postvention protocols.

Two members of your school or district who are interested in developing suicide prevention, intervention and postvention protocols. When registering, you will be required to provide contact information on the person accompanying you to this workshop. Please note that at least one participant from each school must have attended a Gatekeeper training within the past 5 years. Participants will receive 4 contact hours for attending this course.
